You want something done? Ask a busy person.

We have this running motto in our house, "Three things at once, minimum."
People say that I'm a busy person.
If you don't believe me, ask anyone I know.
If you still don't believe me, check out my planner.
And at that point, if you still can't grasp the life I lead, come live with me for a week, then we'll talk.
But the one thing I hate is pity. I make it my goal, every day, to never purposefully try to solicit sympathy. I single-handedly "signed" myself up for everything I do. And I will single-handedly work towards everything I do.
Some ask why I keep myself so busy. They ask why I continue to be a jack-of-all-trades and a master-of-none. My response: I have no idea. I am who I am because I love it. I love my life. I love my friends. I love my commitments. I love it when you tell me I'm overbooking myself. I love running around from activity to activity. I love volunteering. I love an "A" on a test. I love leading. I love planning. I love feeling accomplished. I love being in charge.
Call me a freak. Call me a nerd. Call me a brown-noser. Or, you could just call me successful.
Until you can prove me wrong, I will continue to strive for being a
Master-of-all-trades.
